At GATE, we seek to serve the global church by equipping educators and pastors worldwide through a theological community rooted in the confessional Reformed tradition. We are dedicated to empowering those who teach in mission fields by emphasizing commitment to sound doctrine and contextual application.
Our China Program (GATE-CH) offers Doctor of Missiology degree, and our Korean Diaspora Program (GATE-KD) offers degree options in Master of Theology and Doctor of Missiology. All our degree programs are offered online, taught in their respective languages.
We offer a core curriculum committed to confessional Reformed tradition taught by top scholars of their fields. Students gain rich theology knowledge at a higher-degree level through our curriculum.
Students not only gain theological knowledge but through discussions, they are trained to think critically as they relate theological ideas to their own contexts and explore cross-cultural communication skills.
The knowledge and application aspects of our education is performed in a group setting. To build a sense of support and community, students work as one cohort throughout their program with academic fellows working alongside them.
We seek to partner and collaborate with other mission-minded theological institutions and theologians around the world with the focus of proliferating Reformed theological education in the global mission context.
We provide theological education taught by top scholars in their respective fields by partnering and networking with other schools, scholars, and churches
