WHO WE ARE

About Us

OUR MISSION

We seek to train specialists in theological education to raise future ministers and leaders for the young churches in mission context.

OUR VALUES

GATE Institute’s values and emphases focus on core curriculum committed to confessional Reformed tradition, contextual learning, cross-cultural communication, and mission-minded partnership and network of the students, fellows, and scholars.

We are committed to fostering a learning environment in which students can explore theological ideas that relate to their contextual settings, ultimately encouraging them to develop a biblical understanding of our reality, history, and Scripture as theological educators.

OUR PROGRAMS

With the online platform, we seek to provide advanced and specialized seminary-level education by bringing courses taught by well-established scholars to the places where they are needed instead of having the students leave their places for further education.

Our programs promote academic and practical aspects of education within a learning community. We offer a solid curriculum committed to confessional Reformed tradition while emphasizing practical application that is relevant to each student’s own mission context. This learning experience takes place not individually but in cohorts of 6-8 students.
